Company Overview

Degen Excavating is a second-generation, family-owned company that was founded in 1958. Our company has been dedicated to providing quality services to various organizations, industries, and municipalities in an eleven-county service area of Northwest Ohio, though our services are not limited to this area.

We are a union-affiliated company with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 18, as well as the Laborers’ International Union of North America, Local 329. Our team consists of more than fifty union employees. We are Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) pre-qualified and accredited by the Better Business Bureau for more than 21 years.
